All About Me
I'm Jessica Wyman, a 17-year-old creative photographer with a passion for fashion, storytelling, and capturing movement and emotion through the lens.
Over the past two years, I've been studying a Level 3 BTEC in Creative Photography at Burton and South Derbyshire College, where I loved exploring a wide range of photographic styles and techniques. From experimenting with cyanotypes and double exposure to casual, dynamic street photography, I’ve enjoyed pushing my creativity and developing a strong eye for visual storytelling.
Street photography especially taught me how important it is to notice the picture within the picture — those small, powerful moments that can easily be missed. That attention to detail now influences all of my work, from fashion shoots to capturing natural, expressive portraits.
Alongside photography, dance has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been dancing since the age of three, continuing to take professional exams and perform. It’s helped shape the way I see movement, flow, and emotion — all things that I love to bring into my photography.
I’m excited to keep building my skills, connecting with others, and sharing my creative journey as I move on to study BA (Hons) Fashion Photography at Nottingham Trent University this September.
